An exciting opportunity to work for a start-up on a large Government contract in Alexandria near Springfield Metro. Work on developing an AWS Big Data Analytics system using all the latest open source technology. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, CI Poly is desired.
Any combination of: Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala or other relevant programming languages required. Familiarity with agile development, SAFe a plus. Other skills such as Web UI development (Angular, react JS, Bootstrap...) or back-end data storage and manipulation is a plus.
Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. 0-3 years of experience with
Bachelor’s Degree.

Positions range from Novice to Mid-Level:
Novice Positions – Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years experience
Junior – Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of experience
Mid-Level – 9-11 years with Bachelor’s degree, or 7-9 years with Master’s degree.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Java and any of the other following languages Java Script, Python, PHP, Ruby, AngularJS…
- Experience with Java coding using Eclipse IDE, software compilation using Maven, Java development, and Java service integration
- AWS Developer certification
- Experience in cloud technologies like: Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Storm, Mesosphere, PaaS, Accumulo, Map Reduce, NiFi, Cassandra
